From a two bay service station in 1966, Steve Marshall Ford Campbell River has become an icon in automotive sales, service, parts and autobody for Campbell River and the North Island. In 2008, as a multi-department, full-service automotive dealership, Steve Marshall Ford is one of the most decorated Ford dealerships in Canada.
For 2007, Steve Marshall's received their 23rd "President's Award" from Ford Canada. The "President's Award" criteria is tough to achieve and includes reaching high ratings, for all departments, in Customer Service, Market Share and Retail / Commercial Volume.
Bob Perry, Parts Manager tells us "Departments must be working in harmony with one another in order to receive this award. It's like we're an 8 cylinder engine and everything must be running perfectly to maximize our targets for operations". Ford Canada recognizes their President's Award for outstanding customer satisfaction, progressive management, dedicated employees and high standards of operational excellence. Along with Steve Marshall Ford's 23rd "President's Award", they also hold status with their multiple "North American Customer Excellence Awards" and "Distinguished Ford Achievement Awards".
Also included in Steve Marshall Ford's business commitment is their presence in the community. "It's About Making A Difference" is taken to heart by the Management and Staff at Steve Marshall's and it shows through their dedication throughout the community. Through Steve Marshall's Community Relations Department and Community Events Cruiser, over $150,000 of in-kind donations, in 2007, went out to non-profit societies, sports teams/associations, foundations and others, to support their causes in North Island communities. Steve Marshall's "Community Events Cruiser" has worked with over 60 different North Island events, over the last year.
In 2008, the "Community Events Cruiser" has supported New Year's Polar Bear Swim, Campbell River Fire Department's Fashion Inferno, CRMISA's Walk Away From Racism, Great Strides For Cystic Fibrosis, Campbell River Community Foundation Golf Tournament, Tahsis Lion's Great Walk, Campbell River - Vancouver Island's Canada Day Destination, CRHISS Handyman Challenge, Campbell River Salmon Festival Society - just to name a few.
This past summer season, we're sure that you saw the Steve Marshall Ford "Community Events Cruiser" out and about supporting everything they can. The Steve Marshall Ford "Community Events Cruiser" has great local partners who really make the program outstanding: Campbell River Mirror, Jet 98.9 FM, Columbia Ice, HUB Barton Insurance Brokers and Quality Signs. To add to Steve Marshall's awards list, Campbell River Minor Hockey Association recognized Steve Marshall's with a "Long Standing Commitment Award" for the dealership's support and dedication to youth in Minor Hockey, earlier this year.
With all this success, Steve Marshall's recognizes that our staff play an incredible role at the dealership and in the community. With over 500 years of combined customer service and automotive experience, Steve Marshall's staff are the ones you know and deal with on a daily basis.
Karl Ebdrup, General Manager, was asked what he considers Steve Marshall Ford's greatest assets. "By far, it's the people. It's the ones who work the front lines everyday", he said. "We are very fortunate to have the best people working the front lines and that's the sole reason we are so successful". Steve Marshall's staff are very involved in the community ~ with members in Kinsmen, Rotary, Ski Patrol, St. John's Ambulance, Sports Executives, and volunteerism with Campbell River Storm and Saratoga Speedway, and more. These staff show themselves as leaders in this community.
