In 1966, Steve Marshall bought the Ford Mercury dealership in Campbell River and was the youngest dealer in North America. What was then a 2 car garage gas station is now one of the biggest dealerships in Campbell River winning numerous awards including Ford's prestigous "President's Award" in 2006.

In 1997, Steve Marshall acquired the Nanaimo Ford Lincoln dealership.

2007 has brought new enterprises to the Steve Marshall Ford Lincoln Auto Group including Coastline Mazda and a partnership in Campbell River Honda.
